How much space do I need?
fit20 generally requires studios to be located in a clearly visible location of approximately 900 to 1,500 square feet. Site approval also considers factors including demographics, traffic patterns, physical characteristics and lease terms.
How long does it take to open?
fit20 estimates approximately three to six months from signing the Franchise Agreement to opening. The actual timeline depends on site selection, lease negotiations, financing, construction, permitting, training and equipment delivery. The Franchise Agreement requires the Studio to open within 180 days unless the franchisor determines otherwise under the agreement.
Do I need a fitness background?
No specific fitness background is required to explore fit20 ownership. You will, however, need to complete required franchise training and operate the Studio according to the fit20 system. The franchise opportunity materials emphasize leadership, customer service, community relationships and a willingness to learn and follow the system.
Can this be a passive investment?
fit20 should not be considered a passive franchise opportunity. The Franchise Disclosure Document requires the franchise owner or a principal of the franchise entity to personally supervise the Studio's day-to-day operations and devote full-time attention and best efforts to the business. Day-to-day management may be delegated to an approved General Manager who successfully completes required training.
What training does fit20 provide?
The Initial Training Program is provided for up to two approved initial trainees. The current program includes online, classroom and on-the-job components covering both franchise operations and the fit20 training system.
What support will I receive?
Pre-opening support includes access to brand standards, initial training, site approval, studio layout and equipment specifications, designated suppliers and Grand Opening Campaign support. fit20 also provides ongoing consultation regarding the management and operation of the Studio as described in the Franchise Disclosure Document and Franchise Agreement.
What is the royalty?
The current royalty is the greater of 8% of Gross Sales or $500 per month. The Franchise Disclosure Document contains additional recurring and system fees and should be reviewed in full before making an investment decision.

Discovery Day is an opportunity for qualified franchise candidates to experience the fit20 method, visit operating studios, meet U.S. leadership and explore the business in greater depth. It is designed to help both sides determine whether there is a strong fit before moving forward.

Can I own more than one fit20 Studio?
Additional franchise opportunities may be available to qualified owners, subject to approval, territory availability and the applicable franchise agreements. A single Studio Franchise Agreement does not automatically grant rights to additional locations.
